TechNetworks BV currently offers the following job offers;

Telecom Support Engineer

To improve the support on our products we are searching for a support engineer which;

  • Has good support skills for ICT and VoIP related incidents.
  • Is pro-active when it comes to resolving reported incidents.
  • Works in a structured manner and focussed on building solutions.
  • Has experience with programming telephony systems.
  • Has knowlegde of VoIP protocols (SIP).
  • Has basic knowlegde of the Linux Operating System (Redhat based).
  • Has basic knowlegde of programming languages like; PHP, Bash, Python, etc...
  • Speaks and writes the Dutch and English language fluently.
  • Is preferably familiar with the Asterisk Open Source PBX.

What makes this job interesting is that you are asked to resolve issues reported by our partners by not just analyzing log-files and settings, but also via browsing through the source code to discover the 'root' cause. And if you find a bug in our software, and are capable to resolve it yourself, we will allow you to do so.  (If you're good at it, you can grow on to become a software developer.)

This job is a 32-40 hour job that requires you to be present during most of your working hours  at our office in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Working days are Monday to Friday and we allow you to plan your 8 hour day flexible between 7:00 am and 20:00 pm.
(Preferred is between 8:00 am - 17:00 pm with a 1 hour break.)
